We could smell the sweet aroma as we pulled into the drive at Laveanne Lavender fields. Despite living so close to the fields, this is my first visit with the lavender in full bloom. Row after row of purple.
In addition to the wonderful rows of lavender, the Reflection Labyrinth with its circular pathways can provide a meditative experience and some great photo opportunities! The Patio Girlz, of course, embraced this and had fun posing amongst the blooms.
Did I mention that we were also celebrating my retirement? I brought along a bottle of Champaign, which of course we couldn’t pop open,but certainly made for some fun photos ( and some questioning looks from others!).
